The project is located in an area of recent urban transformation in Lima, the Santa Cruz neighborhood. Old mechanical workshops are giving way to a new commercial area of bars, offices and housing. Its boundaries impose a regular line in a discontinuous environment trying to use geometry to shape the city.

The building resolves different programs by superimposing them on its five levels. The threshold has two different routes from the street; one towards the commercial area and another «side street» that allows passers-by to freely enter the building to the cafeteria, through a botanical garden the height of the building. This walk ends in the cafeteria, a space contained on its sides but open to the sky. The commercial levels are linked with a slow staircase, taking advantage of its spatiality of double and triple heights.

Two skins were used to help control the temperature and solar incidence towards the main façade, a device that works as a veranda to replace the traditional curtain wall. This idea also refers to the traditional Lima balcony that allowed you to see without being seen, but this time through a structural lattice of concrete.
